Verona Sagato-Mauga is a beacon of compassion and dedication in all facets of her life. Rooted in service, she owns and leads two businesses that reflect her core values: Renew Wellness & Recovery, aiding women with mental health and substance use disorders, and Sagato Bakery & Cafe, a community hub fostering connections over delicious pacific inspired treats.

In her quest for positive change, Verona is a candidate for the Utah House of Representatives, amplifying the voices of her community. Additionally, she serves as a Commissioner on the Salt Lake City Racial Equity In Policing Commission, advocating for fairness in law enforcement practices.

Verona's commitment extends beyond her professional roles; she's deeply engaged in civic empowerment as the Civic Engagement Director at OCA Utah. As a Community Advocate and Organizer, she tirelessly champions causes for a more equitable society. Above all, Verona finds her greatest fulfillment in her roles as a devoted wife to Apollo and a loving mother to Loimata.
