PELE CREATIONS

Pele Creations is a legacy fashion label founded by Samoa’s pioneering and iconic designer Frieda Paul in the early 1960s. Pele Creations apparel was comprised of unique designs, created and manufactured by Frieda, and sold through her Carol n Mark boutique in Apia, Samoa. Natalya Frieda Ah Chong Ah Him, Frieda’s eldest grandchild, was born into and nurtured in this world of fashion. Blessed with her grandmother’s creative flair and eye for detail, Natalya was inspired to continue her grandmother’s legacy after she retired. In the early 2000s, she started printing and designing under her grandmother’s watchful eye and, in 2015, launched her own fashion business “Pele Creations” in Apia, Samoa.

In 2018, Natalya and her family moved to New Zealand and established Pele Creations in Auckland, commanding an ever-popular online presence and a home boutique outlet.

Natalya has taken Pele Creations to another level where artistry meets tradition! Her designs are timeless and inspire elegance. Each piece, whether evening, casual, or resort wear, is unique and meticulously handcrafted and artistically designed to capture the beauty, color, and vibrancy of the South Pacific.

Although in her twilight years, Frieda, Natalya’s role model and inspiration, continues to hover in the background as her mentor and guiding light!
