Nancy Elizabeth
Nancy Elizabeth is a half Tongan, half Samoan, fashion designer, filmmaker and artist from Carson, California. As creative director of her self titled label, Nancy Elizabeth, as well as Pasifika lifestyle brand, LIFT Island, Nancy explores the art of displaying Pasifika culture in diaspora, as seen through her Los Angeles lens.
Nancy’s work has been featured in film, television, red carpets and publications such as Ebony Magazine, The Curvy Fashionista and Forbes Magazine. Her work has been displayed in Samoa, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.
As director, writer and producer of the first Pasifika fashion film, TAPA: The Cloth That Binds Us, Nancy brings bold and innovative Pasifika fashion to cinema. Through art and storytelling, her work continues to stretch the boundaries of how Pasifika fashion and culture is seen and experienced.
