Joey “Q” Quenga is a multi-talented individual who has made significant contributions to the media and entertainment industry, particularly
in promoting Pacific Islander culture and representation. As the CEO and Co- Founder of Island City Media Group, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's vision and strategic direction. Island City Media Group, headquartered in Hollywood, CA, has emerged as a leading media organization dedicated to showcasing the diverse stories and talents of Pacific Islander communities.

In addition to his executive role, Joey Quenga serves as the Musical Director for the Kutturan CHamoru Foundation, a non- profit organization that focuses on preserving and promoting the Chamorro culture. Through his involvement with the foundation, Joey has worked tirelessly to ensure the rich heritage of the CHamoru people remains vibrant and accessible to future generations. Their organization serves as a platform to perpetuate the CHamoru culture through song, chant and dance as well as education, cultural exchange, and community engagement. Joey's passion for music and radio has led him to take on the responsibilities of an on- air personality and program director for Island City Radio.

As the only NHPI-owned radio station broadcasting from Hollywood, California, Island City Radio provides a platform for diverse voices and music genres, offering a unique listening experience for its audience.

Recognizing the power of visual storytelling, Joey Quenga is also actively involved in the film industry. As a producer and director for Island City Media, he has played a key role in the production of various projects, showcasing the talent and narratives of Pacific Islander communities. One notable event organized by Island City Media, in partnership with Cal State Los Angeles, is the Los Angeles Pasifika Film Festival (www.lapff.com), a highly anticipated annual event that celebrates the contributions and creativity of Pasifika filmmakers.
