Destrie is a Co-Founder and Head Designer at Bōda. 

Destrie has had a passion for fashion for as long as she can remember! It started when she was 6 years old, borrowed her mother’s sewing machine and started making her own clothing. Destrie launched Bōda with her mother Paula in 2016. They have been designing bridal gowns for over 9 years, and believe every bride deserves to have their dream dress created into a reality! Destrie has utilized her degree in fashion design through many careers in the fashion industry, but she is most proud of her work with Bōda Bridal.

When Destrie is not designing and running her business, she loves spending time with her husband Brandon and her puppy Milo. She also really loves traveling, singing, dancing, being outdoors, and adventuring!

The collection that Bōda will share at the Creative Pacific fashion show was designed on Destrie’s recent honeymoon trip to the Pacific Islands! She and her husband Brandon adventured through Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. The designs and their names are inspired by her travels, which is why this collection is named, “Wanderlust”. They look forward to sharing the collection with you
